7 April is #WorldHealthDay and this year’s theme is #HealthforAll
In Europe, many people with diabetes and their families are financially struggling to access several medicines including essential medicines for their therapy. This is unacceptable to IDF Europe, and we call for Universal Health Coverage for everyone in the continent. To mark this important occasion, we have released a news piece outlining the benefits of investing in the healthcare systems to improve the lives of those living with diabetes as well as their loved ones.
YOURAH young advocates are also eager to make a difference and have their voices heard on this issue, so a webinar has been scheduled for 11 April at CET 8:00 where young patient representatives from across the continent would present their perspectives of access to diabetes in low, middle and high-income countries.
