The DVD will combine the views and experiences of women with GDM alongside an evidence-based commentary, to increase the knowledge and skills required to manage GDM, leading to a sense of empowerment and allowing women to regain control of their lives. As women with GDM have a higher risk of developing type 2 diabetes, this DVD will harness a unique opportunity to intervene in the progression to diabetes.
