10 May - European Patients' Rights Day 

Most people with diabetes in Europe face some barriers in accessing healthcare and to adequately manage their condition. Many young people with diabetes are facing barriers in the job market and other forms of discrimination. 

Therefore, our young advocates decided to focus May 10's seminar on the theme 'Diabetes and Work'. In the 1 hour 30 minutes session, we shred nformation on the current rights inside and outside the EU, stories of young people living with diabetes at work, perspectives of employers and many others. Questions were also addressed in a Q and A session.
