The Sociedad de Diabetología y Nutrición del Uruguay was established in July 1978.
The objectives of the “Sociedad de Diabetología y Nutrición del Uruguay” are to bring together all professionals interested in the different scientific, clinical, educational and medical-social aspects related to diabetes, to promote care, teaching and research activities in the field of diabetes and advise institutions that require it in the area of their competence.
