The Board of Directors is IDF's elected management body. Its primary purpose is to serve the General Assembly to ensure the proper functioning of IDF. The Board of Directors develops IDF strategic plans and analyses all matters relating to the policy of IDF in collaboration with the Executive Office.

A new IDF Board of Directors for 2020-21 was elected at the IDF General Assembly in Busan, Korea, on 2 December 2019. Members include:
