 93th anniversary APDP 03

The Portuguese member, Associação Protectora dos Diabéticos de Portugal (APDP), organised its 93rd anniversary celebration on 13 May in Lisbon, Portugal.

The ceremony celebrated the fact that APDP is the oldest diabetes association in the world. IDF Europe Board Member and APDP president, José Manuel Boavida, welcomed the guests, including Lisbon’s Mayor, Fernando Medina, who seized the moment to highlight the need for improved mobility in the city and reduced motor vehicle traffic.

Every year, during its anniversary ceremony, APDP also celebrates people who have lived 50 years or more with diabetes. Look at the anniversary photos here: https://apdp.pt/noticias/apdp-ha-93-anos-a-apoiar-pessoas-com-diabetes/
