To mark World Diabetes Day, IDF Europe will be holding a series of events in Brussels during the month of November. The main event will be a lunch session at the European Parliament on November 14. Organised under the auspices of the Finnish Presidency, speakers from a range of organisations, including MEPs, EUBIROD, DG Research and Innovation and the National Health Institute of Finland will discuss the burden of diabetes and ways of “Improving the well-being of people living with diabetes and those at risk”.
Other events during the month of November will include some awareness-raising and blood glucose testing sessions in various European Commission buildings.
