IDF Europe member, the Slovenian Diabetes Association, organised on May 25, together with the local association Diabetes Association Koper, the 24th edition of Diabetes sport day.
The diabetes sports days, which gathered more than 1000 participants, was welcomed and sponsored by Slovenian President, Mr Borut Pahor.
People living with diabetes, together with their families and friends, were able to practice up to seven different sport disciplines, including short and long distance walks, bowling and basketball.
The 25th edition of this highly successful event will be organised by the Slovenian Diabetes Association in the Slovenian city of Kočevje.
