About
The International Diabetes Association of Ukraine was registered in 1996 and is located in Kiev. It is an umbrella organisation bringing together 36 regional diabetes organisations in Ukraine.
The Association has a huge experience of work on protecting the rights of people with diabetes. It is the initiator of a national diabetes programme and organises various education programmes.
IDAU initiated the introduction of insulin reimbursement for test strips for individual glucometers for people with diabetes.

Publications & Newsletters
DIABETic magazine, established in 1997. It was awarded a diploma of Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine for the important contribution to the development of endocrinology, and recognised as title of the year in the Medical edition category at Faith, Hope and Love festival.
