Hybrid event: "The Sound of Diabetes"

Date and time: 12 November 2025, 08:00 - 12 November 2025, 09:30 (CET)
Location: European Parliament, Rue Wiertz, Bruxelles, Belgium

On November 12, we held an event hosted by MEP Peter Agius and organised with young people living with type 1 diabetes (T1D) from our YOURAH Network.

Building on the Youth Policy Dialogue on Diabetes held in July with young people living with T1D, MEP Peter Agius, Commissioner for Health and Animal Welfare Olivér Várhelyi, and Commissioner for Intergenerational Fairness, Youth, Culture and Sport Glenn Micallef, the event brought together young people with lived experience, experts and policymakers to address the mental health challenges faced by young people living with T1D.
