We are hiring a new project management intern!

IDF Europe is looking for a new Project Management Intern to join the team. The job holder will support IDF Europe’s participation in different European projects, including those requiring patient engagement and dissemination of results (under the supervision of IDF Europe Regional Manager).


Internship assignment: 6 months

Specific responsibilities include:
• Supporting IDF Europe’s involvement in EU-funded projects
• Assisting with the coordination of IDF Europe’s contribution to different projects
• Liaising with project partners and attending project meetings
• Assisting with the timely delivery of IDF Europe obligations and commitments as set out in project agreements;
• Being the focal point of contact between IDF Europe and patients involved in projects;
• Keeping track of deadlines in terms of commitments, deliverables and reports in accordance with the grant agreement
• Drafting reports, presentations and other material
• Supporting IDF Europe communication assistant in promoting projects visibility on social media and ensuring effective dissemination
• Performing various administrative tasks linked to the projects

Desired profile:
• Preferably, a Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in Health or Life Sciences, or another related/relevant field;
• Excellent written and spoken English, with knowledge of a second/third language an asset
• Good project management skills
• Ability to communicate project results in lay language to an identified relevant audience;
• Sound knowledge of communication tools and techniques
• Ability to plan and prioritise
• Outgoing personality and a team player
• An interest in health issues; experience in diabetes or related clinical field would be an asset
• Right to live and work in Belgium without requiring a work permit
