The Diabetesvereniging Nederland (DVN – Dutch Diabetes Association ) was established in 1945.
DVN is the national organisation in the Netherlands representing people living with diabetes and their families. The association works to improve quality of life through advocacy for better diabetes care, support for daily diabetes management, and promoting full participation in society.
DVN was one of the founding members of the International Diabetes Federation in 1950.
