As the Horizon Europe-funded ASSESS-DHT project approaches its conclusion, consortium partners are disseminating key findings and outcomes to support the assessment and adoption of digital health technologies (DHTs) across Europe.
IDF Europe is a partner in ASSESS-DHT, a three-year collaborative project focused on developing a harmonised framework and practical tools for Health Technology Assessment (HTA) of digital health technologies. The consortium has worked to address key considerations such as evidence requirements, data quality and cybersecurity, with the goal of facilitating the adoption of trustworthy and effective digital health solutions across Europe.
On October 23, Sabine Dupont, IDF Europe’s Director of Strategy and Policy, presented ASSESS-DHT at the 8th HTA Stakeholder Network meeting in Brussels. The meeting provided an opportunity to present the consortium’s work and outcomes to key European HTA stakeholders and contribute to discussions on how digital health technologies can be assessed more consistently across Europe.
Consortium partners will continue these dissemination activities at the ASSESS-DHT Final Results Conference, taking place on November 30 and December 1 in Brussels and online. Over two days, the conference will cover the ASSESS-DHT Knowledge Hub, advances in digital healthcare, the challenges of assessing AI-based digital health technologies, the importance of human factors and the lived-experience perspective, as well as a joint vision developed with sister project EDiHTA.

The conference offers an opportunity to learn about the consortium’s key findings and outcomes and discuss their implications for the future of digital health technology assessment in Europe.
The event will be held in a hybrid format, with separate registration for each day.
