About

The Togolese Diabetes Association (ATD) is a non-profit association established in 1992 on the initiative of a person living with diabetes and healthcare professionals working in diabetes. They were quickly joined by other healthcare professionals and people with diabetes.

This Association was originally called “Togolese Diabetics Association.” The current name was adopted in 1999 to better reflect that the association is also open to people without diabetes.

ATD is based in Lomé, with sections in all regions of Togo.
