Primary Care Diabetes Association (PCDA) Pakistan is a non-government and non-profit organisation at the forefront of diabetes care in Pakistan for the last 16 years. It has been working in the field of diabetes prevention and education in more than fifty cities and towns in the country.

PCDA’s mission is to enhance the quality of primary diabetes care through education, advocacy, and research.

Main Focus

The main focus areas of PCDA activities are:

1. Screening of people at high risk.
2. Awareness sessions for primary prevention.
3. Awareness sessions for the people with diabetes.
4. Educating people with diabetes about prevention of complications.
5. Updating knowledge of diabetes healthcare professionals.
6. Periodical meetings of primary care physicians at provincial and national levels.
7. Annual & biennial symposia on international standards.
