Our project aims to strengthen community engagement, empower young leaders, and improve access to life-changing diabetes technology. A key component is advocating for alternative insulin delivery systems currently unavailable in Singapore. Through surveys, open letters to manufacturers, and engagement with healthcare providers, we aim to prepare the community and healthcare system for safe adoption by supporting healthcare providers with access to appropriate materials and manufacturer-provided training, ensuring families feel supported and informed. Additionally, we are developing media campaigns, producing videos and podcasts to raise awareness, challenge misconceptions, and amplify patient voices in Singapore. By combining community-building, advocacy, and public outreach, we seek to transform diabetes care experiences and inspire a new generation of young leaders in diabetes.
