About
The mission of the Cameroon Diabetes Association (CDA) is to promote diabetes awareness, prevention and care for people with diabetes.
CDA has branches in all ten regions of Cameroon to facilitate communication and coordination of activities.

Activities
The main planned activities are:
- Increasing diabetes awareness, particularly among the Bororos and Muslim communities
- Fund raising to assist children living with diabetes.
- Training of diabetes educators.
- Use of diabetes conversation maps in clinics and hospitals.
- Increasing diabetes education.
- Advocacy and communication with the government and parliament.
- Strengthening of the association for children with diabetes and their families.
- Organising national diabetes conference ahead of World Diabetes Day.
