As members of CUI.D.AR, Enzo Garcia and I are promoting an initiative from this organisation that facilitates the navigation of the healthcare system, increases meaningful patient participation, improves care management, and provides real-life information and data on the difficulties people living with diabetes in Argentina face concerning access.
Given the difficult economic situation in our country, many people are choosing to emigrate from Argentina, and many of them have diabetes. To provide them with the information they may need to manage their condition, we decided to map the countries most chosen by Argentines. This practical information about diabetes care in these countries may be useful when Argentine migrants settle in their destination country. For example, they can access relevant information about their condition, such as in hospitals, embassies and associations.
