The French project involves setting up a nationwide questionnaire to determine the issues and what is important for type 1s. This will enable us to focus our project on supporting type 1s, on combating discrimination in relation to the most important issues, and on raising awareness among as many people as possible in order to combat ignorance and reduce discrimination. The aim of the T1issue project is to understand the problems faced by Type 1s and how to solve them.
The first part of the project focuses on questioning the type 1 problems and then solving them. The solutions found, such as raising awareness among elected representatives, combating discrimination linked to protocols, prohibited occupations and temporary driving licences, will benefit as many people as possible.
