On 17 June, 2023, the ‘Interact with IDF Experts: Diabetes Management Exchange 2023’ was held simultaneously in the cities of Beijing, Xi’an and Jinan in China. This hybrid training event brought together 71 clinical physicians specialised in diabetes from across the country.
The training event – co-planned by the IDF School of Diabetes and the Beijing Hengji Health Management Development Foundation in China – aimed to promote the dissemination of scientific knowledge on diabetes management and improve communication between international experts and mid-career Chinese clinical physicians.
The training event was chaired by Prof. Linong Ji (China) and included a faculty comprising of Prof. Luc Van Gaal, Prof. Rayaz A. Malik, Dr. Bruno Almeida, and Dr. V. Mohan, who gave online lectures on research about oral semaglutide and academic presentation skills.
The exchange was very well received from participating physicians, who highly rated the lectures and presentation styles of the IDF faculty.
