The Association Burkinabè d’Action contre le Diabète (ABAD) aims to inform the Burkina Faso population about issues related to diabetes and educate and raise awareness among people with diabetes about treatment, available care and the risks of complications.

Activities

ABAD marks World Diabetes Day every year on the theme defined by the International Diabetes Federation. We carry out screening actions to raise awareness among the population so that anyone potentially at risk can improve their quality of life.
