Diabeat it! raises awareness on diabetes, educates people living with diabetes in the Palestinian community and advocates for the rights of people with diabetes. Our advocacy activities galvanise diabetes stakeholders to act and create change in the community. We worked on education, raising awareness for the community, people with diabetes and their caregivers, and faculties of Medicine and HCP in the Gaza Strip. These actions were carried out in educational and support sessions, workshops, meetings and social media campaigns. Input from people with diabetes and their caregivers figured in the development of all these activities.
