Kids and Diabetes in Schools (KiDS) is an International Diabetes Federation (IDF) programme that brings diabetes education to schools to combat diabetes-related stigma and promote healthy lifestyles to tackle preventable type 2 diabetes risk factors, in line with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals. IDF ,in partnership with the International Society for Pediatric and Adolescent Diabetes (ISPAD) and Sanofi, initiated KiDS in 2013.
During this webinar, we celebrated a decade of success and reaffirm IDF’s commitment to contributing to the well-being of children and adolescents with diabetes and preventing type 2 diabetes. The panel included expert speakers from IDF, ISPAD, Sanofi and regional governments.
