The third edition of Best of IDF India will take place on 17 – 18 February 2024. This virtual event — reserved for health professionals in India — offers bite-size 10 to 20-minute sessions covering hot topics in diabetes management and diabetes-related complications.
The first day will focus on hypertension updates, the growing prevalence of heart failure, treatments for CKD, and GLP-1RAs or newer combination treatments for diabetes and obesity.
On the second day, the focus shifts to central obesity and diabetes-related complications. Further sessions will cover the hidden risk of peripheral arterial disease, CVD prevention and the use of aspirin in treatment.
Opportunities for discussion
Throughout both days, live Q&A sessions enable participants to find answers from leading diabetes experts. At the end of the first day, a local panel discussion will allow participants and experts to exchange on the session topics in greater detail.
Following sessions on the second day, speakers will tackle topics from an Indian perspective to provide a more detailed analysis.
