On 24 August – 16:30-1800 CEST – IDF will host an online event that will share and discuss the latest data on the impact of diabetes on Indigenous Populations across the world. Speakers will include healthcare professionals, academics and people living with diabetes.
In December 2022, IDF launched the IDF Diabetes Atlas report “Diabetes among Indigenous Peoples”, which found a consistent rise of type 2 diabetes in Indigenous Populations across the globe.
