IDF has issued a statement thanking the Russian Federation for leading the work on the Resolution and highlighting its importance to improve diabetes care and prevention. The statement urges Member States to adopt the Resolution and:

• Increase access to effective and quality diabetes products;
• Ensure market transparency for diabetes medicines (including insulin) and supplies.
The statement is supported by the NCD Alliance, International Association for Dental Research, FDI World Dental Federation, and the members of the Global Coalition for Circulatory Health (International Alliance of Patients’ Organisations, International Atherosclerosis Society, International Society of Hypertension, International Society of Nephrology, World Heart Federation, and World Stroke Organisation).
