At the 74th World Health Assembly (May 24-June 1, 2021), the International Alliance of Patients’ Organisations (IAPO) has issued a statement in reaction to the adoption of the WHO Flagship Global Patient Safety Action Plan 2021-2030 (GPSAP 2021-30).
The statement on Global Action on Patient Safety is supported by several civil society organisations, including IDF. The GPSAP aims to provide Member States and other stakeholders with an action-oriented framework to facilitate the global implementation of strategic patient safety interventions at all levels of health systems over the next 10 years.
