About
The Antigua and Barbuda Diabetes Association was established on 9 February, 1986. The founding President Vivian James, was motivated by the need to provide support for people living with diabetes to help them take better care of themselves and to avoid common complications, especially amputations, of which there was a high prevalence among people living with diabetes. So together with other like-minded persons the Association was started.
