The Sociedad Dominicana de Diabetes (SODODIA) was founded on November 9, 1966, in Santo Domingo. SODODIA is a non-profit professional and scientific society that brings together all Dominican healthcare professionals specialised in the field of diabetology.
SODODIA offers scientific activities for the ongoing education of health professionals, allowing them to stay up to date on the latest advances in diabetes, as well as courses and workshops for people with diabetes and their families.
