Message from the President
Living with type 1 diabetes doesn’t define who you are or set limits, but rather highlights your strength, your resilience, and your creativity, empowering you to pursue your dreams. This message, aimed at both those living with type 1 diabetes and society at large, underscores the importance of managing the condition through healthy habits, emotional support, and a positive attitude. It also seeks to foster empathy and awareness of the need for early diagnosis, as emphasised by the International Diabetes Federation and the World Health Organization in their awareness-raising efforts.
