About

The Asociación Puertorriqueña de Educadores en Diabetes (APRADE) consists of healthcare professionals dedicated to influence policy, increase public awareness, encourage health improvement, promote the exchange of high-quality information about diabetes, and provide education for people with diabetes and their healthcare providers.

Membership is open to healthcare professionals wishing to render diabetes education, diabetes management, support, guidance, and encouragement to individuals with or at risk for diabetes. APRADE is a purely voluntary organization.

APRADE does not discriminate based on race, colour, sex, age, religious affiliation, handicap, national origin, or other personal factor. The foundational values of equality and freedom for all are honoured.

Diabetes self-management education and support services for people with diabetes and those who care for them.
