“Sports for all, all for sports” focuses on establishing a friendship support system through sports and encourages people living with diabetes to practice a sport. The project will include various sports events to create a national diabetes sports league.
My name is Andrew Saliba. I’m 20, and I’m from Lebanon. Six years ago, I was diagnosed with type 1 diabetes. When I received my diagnosis, I was still in school at Notre Dame de Louaize (NDL). However, my diagnosis didn’t stop me from practising sports, and I played with the NDL basketball team from 2107-2019. Today, I’m a second-year undergraduate student in psychology at the University of Usek in Jounieh. I still play basketball and nurture my talent for writing poetic literature.
