Amro Abou Ankira (Morocco)

Hello! My name is Abou Anikira, and I am from Morocco.

My commitment to diabetes advocacy was sparked by my own diagnosis with type 1 diabetes in 2021. Since then, I have dedicated myself to advancing diabetes care and advocacy initiatives, both personally and professionally.

I am eager to collaborate with other Blue CIrcle Voices (BCV) on impactful global initiatives that enhance the lives of people with diabetes. My background in diabetes management, combined with my volunteer work and advocacy, has given me the foundation to contribute effectively to IDF’s mission.

The Blue Circle Voices (BCV) network is not just a platform, but a powerful community that amplifies the voices of those affected by diabetes and drives meaningful change. As a BCV diabetes advocate, I aim to leverage my skills and experiences to foster a stronger, more informed diabetes community.
