A new website for the International Diabetes Federation

07 June 2023

The International Diabetes Federation is delighted to share our new website to accompany our new visual identity launched in April.

The new website reinforces IDF’s position as a unique and authoritative source of information on diabetes with tailored content to meet the needs of our diverse, multicultural and multilingual global diabetes community and beyond.

For over 70 years, the International Federation of Diabetes (IDF) has been at the forefront of the global diabetes community. Our extensive network of members in more than 160 countries and territories has shown how collective action can drive significant change in diabetes care and prevention.

Recently, IDF approved a strategic plan that paves the way for our activities until 2027. This plan is guided by a new vision to provide affordable, quality diabetes care and education worldwide and a mission to improve the lives of people with diabetes and prevent the condition in those at risk.

We have redesigned our website focusing on user experience and functionality, giving it a modern look and a simple design. We have also added new features and improved existing ones to enhance the overall user experience.

What our new website includes:
  • A fully responsive and accessible design: The website is accessible on all devices and designed to cater to the needs of people living with disabilities.
  • Easy access to resources and tools: Depending on your interests and the topic, you will find the latest resources relevant to you in the same section.
  • Multilingual content: To provide value to our regions, members and partners and increase engagement and conversations, a new feature will be rolled out in the coming weeks that will allow visitors to browse content in French and Spanish.

We encourage you to explore the new idf.org and share any feedback with us at [email protected].

We look forward to working with you to shape a healthier future for all.

Keep up to date with all the work we’re doing
