On 22 November at 13:30 – 14:30 CET, IDF hosted the online event “KiDS: 10 years of contributing to global wellbeing”.
Kids and Diabetes in Schools (KiDS) is an International Diabetes Federation (IDF) programme that brings diabetes education to schools to combat diabetes-related stigma and promote healthy lifestyles to tackle preventable type 2 diabetes risk factors, in line with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals. IDF, in partnership with the International Society for Pediatric and Adolescent Diabetes (ISPAD) and Sanofi, initiated KiDS in 2013.
During this webinar, we celebrated a decade of success and reaffirmed IDF’s commitment to contributing to the well-being of children and adolescents with diabetes and preventing type 2 diabetes. The panel included expert speakers from IDF, ISPAD, Sanofi and regional governments.
KiDS is an International Diabetes Federation programme supported by an educational grant from Sanofi, in cooperation with the International Society of Pediatric and Adolescent in Diabetes (ISPAD)
