On 13 July, IDF and the International Society of Nephrology (ISN) are teaming up to host the launch of our joint policy brief “Renewing the fight: a call to action for diabetes and chronic kidney disease”.
This brief offers healthcare professionals and diabetes advocates recommendations targeted at policymakers for effectively preventing, managing and treating diabetes and chronic kidney disease (CKD).
An expert line-up of panellists, including the IDF and ISN Presidents, healthcare professionals and people with diabetes, will delve into the necessary actions for implementing these recommendations, ultimately resulting in improved health outcomes for people with diabetes and CKD. We will hear shared experiences to understand better what living with diabetes and CKD means and how better policy can improve lives.
