The International Diabetes Federation (IDF) relies on the expertise and leadership of its Standing Committees and Working Groups to advance its mission to improve the lives of people with diabetes and prevent diabetes in those at risk.
Standing Committees support the Board of Directors in key areas of governance and operations, including finance, nominations, ethics, and membership. They ensure that IDF remains transparent, accountable and aligned with its strategic priorities.
Working Groups focus on specific themes and technical areas critical to IDF’s mission, such as advocacy, clinical practice, education, youth engagement, and regional development. Bringing together experts, member representatives and partners, these groups drive collaboration, share best practices and contribute to the global diabetes agenda.
Together, IDF Committees and Working Groups strengthen the Federation’s ability to lead, coordinate and inspire action against diabetes worldwide.
