The International Diabetes Federation is pleased to announce the appointment of Kim Smouter as its new Senior Director, Members, Regions & Internal Affairs.
Kim assumed his role on 5 January 2026. He will be responsible for engaging and serving IDF member associations and regions and performing the duty of Secretary for the formal governance of the Federation. Kim will also focus on ICT innovation and creating the conditions for success in areas including human resources, finance and procurement.
