Lisbon, Portugal – 2022
The sixth edition of the YLD Leadership Training Summit took place during the IDF World Diabetes Congress 2022 on 5-8 December. Fifty-one YLD members from 31 countries participated in this unique event featuring sessions on diabetes advocacy, project planning and storytelling.
Busan, South Korea – 2019
The fifth YLD Leadership Training Summit took place in Busan, Korea, in parallel to the IDF Congress, between December 3-6, 2019. Some 61 YLD members from all over the world came together to enjoy educational sessions on diabetes key topics and advocacy during this 4-day training. Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates – 2017
The fourth YLD Leadership Training Summit took place in parallel to the IDF Congress, between December 5-8, 2017. Some 59 members of the YLD Programme from 51 different countries attended this Summit, which provided them with the opportunity to gain knowledge on advocacy, new technologies, discuss the future of diabetes and learn how to develop regional action plans, as well as attend some of the scientific sessions of the Congress.
