The IDF South and Central America (SACA) Region includes 20 countries and territories, currently representing 40 diabetes organizations in 18 countries.

According to the IDF Diabetes Atlas 9th Edition, an estimated 31.6 million adults aged 20-79 years were living with diabetes in the IDF SACA  region in 2019, representing a regional prevalence of 9.4%. Some 41.9 % of diabetes cases in the region are undiagnosed. 

The elected IDF representatives for the South and Central America (SACA) region for 2020-21 are:
